PAW KEYS GIVES

Half the fee.
Two causes close to home.

Paw Keys is a commercial business, not a charity. Listings stay free, and when Paw Keys earns an eligible paid-product fee we commit 50% of that fee to charitable giving: 25% to animal welfare and 25% to housing and homelessness support. Paw Keys makes the donations itself.

Listings stay free

We do not fund the promise by putting a basic property listing behind a paywall.

Trust cannot be bought

Paid accounts do not receive a better verification result, trust status or organic ranking.

We publish the numbers — and tell customers directly

Live totals appear once the first eligible paid fee is recorded, with “allocated” and “donated” shown separately. After each funding round, paying customers are also emailed a breakdown of where the money went.

Paw Keys is not a charity.

Customers pay Paw Keys for the product or service they buy. That payment is not a charitable donation by the customer. Paw Keys then makes the charitable donations itself under the 50% commitment.

No loopholes.

If Paw Keys records £100 of eligible fees, £50 is committed to Paw Keys Gives. It is a fixed promise, not a target or an “up to” figure. If money is not distributed in one quarterly round, it remains committed and carries forward. Our public ledger is there so the commitment and the eventual payments can be checked, and after each funding round we email paying customers with the same breakdown.

HOW THE 50% WORKS

A simple rule we can actually prove.

1A professional customer pays a Paw Keys fee.

The relevant fee is recorded excluding VAT and any refunded amount.

2Paw Keys commits half to giving.

25% is reserved for animal welfare and 25% for housing and homelessness.

3Available funds are reviewed quarterly.

We choose verified charities from across the two sectors. If there is not enough to make a useful award, or no suitable recipient is ready, the balance carries forward.

4Every payment is published — and paying customers are updated.

Once a donation is actually paid, we list the recipient, cause, amount and payment date in the public giving history. After each funding round, we also email paying customers with the breakdown so they do not have to take the promise on trust.

WHO WE SUPPORT

We want the money to reach a range of charities.

Paw Keys does not reserve its giving for the biggest household names. We can support smaller, local and specialist charities as well as larger organisations, provided they fit one of the two Paw Keys Gives causes and pass our checks.

Charities can register interest for free

Eligible organisations can register interest at any time. There is no fee to register interest, and doing so does not guarantee funding.

Funding is reviewed quarterly

If there is money available, Paw Keys reviews the funding pool and chooses organisations we believe can put it to useful work. We are not tied to one permanent recipient.

We verify before we pay

We may check registration details, the organisation, what the money will support and payment information before making an award.

Nothing disappears if it is not paid that quarter

Any committed amount that is not distributed remains in the Paw Keys Gives balance and carries forward to a future funding round.

FUNDING INTEREST

Charities can register interest in future funding.

Registering interest is free. Paw Keys reviews available funds quarterly and may support a range of verified charities across animal welfare and housing/homelessness. Registering interest does not guarantee funding, and there may be no money available in a particular quarter.

Registering interest is free. Paw Keys may verify organisation details before making any funding award.
